Right media was a company that was raken over by Yahoo for more than $600 million dollars.

Right Media places a tracking cookie on your system and makes money out of the unsuspecting user by marketing the information they gain from you whilst you are using your PC.

When I originally discovered this I was so incensed I emailed the company and demanded they remove their virus from my system (and yes I call it a virus as you are infected by their tracking cookie as ...

Malwarebytes researcher Steven Burn aka MysteryFCM, has declared it rogue/Fraudulent Security Application. I have as well.

As I tested it, I noticed it posted very low risk infections, or fake infections - and then explicitly enforced the fact that the program must be bought in order to remove the threats. Now, that is a good sign it is rogue.

Need a means of back up so i'm just wondering what's better. An external HD or a DVD burner?

i know External hardrives can fail and when they do you're screwed. But DVD burners give you unlimited yet, reliable back ups as if one disc screws up you only lose 4 gigs of backup. So i'm also wondering is it possible that a dvd disc's data will somehow just dissappear one day?

and what other disadvantages/advantages of the dvd disc/dvd burner method of backing up files and the ...
