STOPzilla Poll

Post by DragonMaster Jay on Tue 17 Nov 2009, 11:34 pm

Lately, I have seen a growing number of discussions about STOPzilla, and whether the program is rogue or not.

Malwarebytes researcher Steven Burn aka MysteryFCM, has declared it rogue/Fraudulent Security Application. I have as well.

As I tested it, I noticed it posted very low risk infections, or fake infections - and then explicitly enforced the fact that the program must be bought in order to remove the threats. Now, that is a good sign it is rogue.

I have posted a poll question before I make a public declaration to all security companies to add STOPzilla to their database. In this poll, I am seeing if many people know about it, use it, find it rogue, etc.
